Cool truck (if you like Chevy's)

Thought I would like this but for me it would need 4 doors and more than 181 hp.

181 HP, but 369 Lb/ft of torque.

Hp figures are never impressive with a diesel, as they do not rev very high.

Its the torque that gets the job done.

HP is more of an RPM thing, but it is what most everybody latches onto.

Horse Power is two very marketable words combined. Torque is what someone does to their spine and causes crippling back pain.

Beware of marketing.

I wonder the weight difference between the Raptor and the Chevy. It will ultimately come down to that, in terms of which one is more capable, Not which is more marketable.

Real world test drive of what's available NOW....

4 real doors, 300 HP & 26 MPG - Looks like a winner to me! I am not a brand loyal guy & currently have 2 Fords but if I was looking for a truck in this segment I would consider this for sure.

Rear doors are great for taxis, that truck looks fine lust the way it is! Now I know what I will be driving in six or eight years when I can afford one.
