Calexico border Xing into Mexacali

We crossed at the "New Port" crossing last time on the east side of town. Thinking about going through at Calexico "Old Port" this time. Can you get your tourist visa there without having to drive to the bank? We will be trailering a boat behind a camper and don't want to drive much in traffic.

It seems like smooth sailing from there to San Felipe. Any thoughts on which is the least complicated route.

I tried once on a weekday around noon. Parking was a nightmare and everyone was out to lunch. I waited an hour and gave up.

These endless lands and unique waters are not simply soil and sea. These elements of earth and water are as much a part of me as my blood and organs. And the people that populate this corner of the world lift my spirit to heights that allow me to see what is truly important; The beauty of life. And that is the essential gift.
