Christmas Trip

Greetings,
I drove down with my Wife and daughter. 1st night SD. Second night we spend in Catavina after a nice lunch at Mamma Espinosa's in El Rosario. Catavina was gorgeous...Hiked around the desert for several hours with my daughter. 3rd night we made it to Bahia Asuncion. Beautiful spot on the Pacific Coast, but with the swell running big we didn't try to launch the boat with the family. It would be no problem with a couple guys. They had good fishing while I was there, guys were getting a few dorado, yellowfin and yellowtail. Apparently the sea lion problem there is gnarly and you have to battle for nearly every fish if you are close to shore. I did fish off the beach a few days and caught several corvina, plus hooked something big that nearly jumped before spitting the hook? Spent 2 nights there. Nice beach and 72 degree water. Zoe loved playing in the ocean
Headed to San Lucas Cove after a nice lunch in San Ignancio and a tour of the mission. Spent the next 2.5 weeks there hanging out with friends, fishing, snorkeling, beach combing, eating fish tacos and drinking Pacificos!
Enjoy
Steve

I vowed to this forum users that on my next trip S.O.B., that I would include pictures to add to my trip reports. Dude...did you have to set the bar so high?
Great job, I will refer friends and family to this post to help them understand my fascination with Baja

Great! That's what it's all about. I raised three daughters, each 15 years apart. All grown now. Went by so fast.

Thanks guys...I've posted a few times on here (posted a video report last year too), but mostly a lurker. Not a professional videographer, just been using iMovie for a few years. It is actually pretty easy, just takes a bunch of hours. My daughters' second time to Baja, first time driving down. Hopefully many more in the future! She loves it down here:)
