Do AT&T GoPhones still work in Mexico, for calling Mexican numbers?


(please delete this thread that I started. Clearly there's something faulty with the particular sim I have, rather than there being a general problem, so it's no longer relevant).

Riom, I know that you wanted this thread to go away, but the problem may be more widespread than just your sim card.
Telcel now sells cell phones comparable to Go Phones, in the US that use ATT towers for service. My brother in law bought one in Grass Valley CA, and is having the same problem you are.
Bad sim card? Probably, or it could be some problems with the exchange of services with this new arrangement between Telcell and ATT

As of Jan 10th or so my ATT GoPhone still worked in Loreto and Tijuana.
