white sea bass limits in Mexico?

Hubbie Les has asked me to post this question:

What is the limit (he could not find the definitve answer) on white sea bass in Mexico?

He understands that in the US, the limit is 3 pp.

Catching 5 wsb a day is something we do not usually have to worry about going over in La Bocana, but I hear it has been very good lately.:bounce:

i have been on the net boats in august out of abreojos pre-red tide season. The WSB that would come up were monstrous. I think the fishing would be good for wsb if you could safely fish at night.

They have always caught a lot in the nets at times. Hook and line, not so much.

That seems to be related to not understanding how to catch them. Either live bait or small squid and they call them the ghost fish for a very specific reason. Since they are not always there the locals have not gotten dialed in on how to get them with a hook and line.

Exactly. Why spend a lot of time looking for a wsb that may not be there when you can catch 100 yellowtail with a cedar plug that same day.

Different strokes for different folks, eh?

Why would someone drink Pepsi swill when they could have a delicious Coke?

Anyhow, the would be pretty boring if everyone fished only yellow tail, and fishermen would get bored if their only experiences were yellow tail and that was all there was to talk about,... Eh?

These are commercial fisherman. They fish for money. A boat load of yellowtail pays more than a few wsb.
