More fishy bad news
Latest local edition of the Gringo Gazette:
1. 3 guys caught transporting for sale 86 endangered Totoaba fish bellies valued at $200K on the Asian market.
2. Impounded a big boat near Guerrero Negro carrying 1,000 lobsters (out of season). Owner of the boat. wait for it, Edgar Aguilar, president of the
Fishermen's Co-operative of the North Pacific.
What did you expect? Same dirt, different shirt.

Maybe what's needed is an advertising campaign in China to let them know that eating those expensive swim bladders won't put lead in their pencils.

Monoloco, I wasn't thinking China. It's against the law to propagate over there so maybe we could get them to help us stop the poaching and sale of
shark fins, animal tusks and fish bladders.

Their culture of wanting to eat or posses just about anything
rare or unusual is driving the extinction of many species. I'm sure that there must be some kind of campaign to change that culture and raise
awareness of the problem in Asia, but I'm not aware of it.

They caught them with 1009 lobster tails and a thousand pounds of whole lobster. They should confiscate the boat and throw the owner and crew in jail,
but they probably won't do anything because the guy's well connected.

IMO we and Mexico need to stop importing seafood to asia , but I know it will never happen
So understand dont waste your time always searching for those wasted years
face up and make your stand and realize that your living in the golden years
