Need crates for the dog rescue effort going on in La Paz

I posted some questions a while back about getting 20 dogs across the border. The individual in Minneapolis interested in rescuing dogs and helping us find homes for them has increase that to 60.

I got some excellent leads on information and we just shipped the first 6 dogs via United Airlines out of Cabo today. They went in airline approved crates that we do plan to get back - but we really need more crates.

If anyone is coming to La Paz from the US and can bring down crates to us we need as many as we can get our hands on. Ventilated on 4 sides is preferable. We need large and medium sized crates. The small dogs are placed together in one medium crate to save money.

We will be shipping in groups of 6 like this until they are all out and up north.

For information about what we are doing we are calling this project the Baja34.
Here is an update concerning money raised so far

Please spread the word to anyone you know that might be coming to La Paz from the US and can pick these up. These crates are very expensive to purchase here at the Segundas. We are hoping people heading down will be willing to buy them in the US, bring them and donate them.

Thanks,
Charlene - Volunteer for K9 Rancho del Perro.

Is K9 Rancho de Perro located southwest outside of El Centenario?

My place is quiet close to K9, and I have two crates for you there.

I should be back in Centenario by the end of next week.
