Pt. Chivato Deal of the Decade - ****SOLD***Private beach, enormous lot, nice house, FIRE SALE

http://bajasur.en.craigslist.com.mx/reb/4952330798.html

********In case you were interested in this fantastic deal but couldn't make an offer fast enough - I have another great deal lined up:

http://bajasur.en.craigslist.com.mx/reb/4986682933.html

This house is being sold for a small fraction of the buyers original investment. The lovely house is two houses over from the Campbell (soup family) mansion near the famous Hotel Posada Las Flores.

150K. Seriously, $150,000. You won't believe until you see it. Buyer wants to move fast and the neighborhood may snap it up for a communal guesthouse before long so a deposit is expected to hold the deal.

Two large master suites, three fireplaces, beam construction with antique beams from the St. Rosalia mines, large garage, plenty of room for expansion if needed, and every room with a water view.

A screaming deal. Shouldn't last long.

Something is weird with this price. The lot alone is more valuable than $150k.
"two houses over from the Campbell (soup family) mansion"
My understanding is they are not soup related but dot-commers that lost out in the market crash. They were also the folks that started the abandoned steak house over by the runway.

It's 150K. First come first served.

Nothing weird about this except that nobody has put a deposit down in the first twenty-four hours. An exceptional deal. Period. Seller doesn't have time to fool around.

Fully furnished as well. All the toys in the garage are negotiable.

The land alone is worth more than the asking and you get 150K or more worth of construction as a bonus. An amazing deal is the best description possible. I don't expect it to stay out of contract for long.

If you know the value of the area and want to put a deposit down please let me know asap.

Your link shows it went on craigslist 8 days ago. Is this when it first went on sale? Is the beach easy to walk on as it looks rocky? What is solar capacity in panels and batteries?

thanks,
pacside

Beach sand comes and goes. It is in the process of re-sanding now. The pics of the sandy beach were provided by the owner last week and are pictures from the past. The rocky pictures are as of April 1, 2015 and that is when it officially went on sale (not an April Fool's joke).

The batteries are probably toast and the 8 panel solar array is dated but looks functional. This house needs minor TLC and since the owner has not had time since he bought it is his loss and your gain.

Fielding a lot of emails on this already but it always comes down to who makes the offer and deposit.

Good luck.

Thanks for the interest but this under offer from a client up north.......

This went nearly as fast as I expected but there are other good properties available. For example this winner that I put under exclusive yesterday:

http://bajasur.en.craigslist.com.mx/reb/4986682933.html

If you need a space on the beach with lots of room for your friends and toys this is it. An excellent price for top-notch maintenance, great location (near the boat ramp and the air-strip), with lots of built in amenities.

It's been a decent year for investments in the Mulege area and I believe the upcoming season will be even better so have a look through our inventory for bargains before the prices go up.

The bakery is closed for the season but I can be reached via Skype, email, and home phone for the summer.

Sold - but there are many more deals to be had

This is an excellent time to be investing in the Mulege area. Lots of transition happening and I have inquiries daily from many parts of the world.

This Punta Chivato house was a great deal and after multiple offers over asking the owner selected a buyer. This kind of bidding enthusiasm reminds of my time as a Realtor in Lake Tahoe and is a sure sign there is strong growing interest in this area.

If you are considering buying or selling contact me at your convenience.

Have a great summer and support Halcones de Desierto via Paypal.
