7 day fmm's
Question: If you stop at Mexicali for a 7 day fmm which is free, do you still have to go to a bank or elsewhere to authorize the fmm.
I\'ve been told I\'m preoccupied with Baja. They just don\"t understand, in fact neither do I.

No. You go to the bank to pay only, then return to migra for them to stamp it and that' s it. If you have a free one they stamp it and send you down
the road.

I've got the free 7 day, 6 nt fmm at the Downtown Mexicali
Calexico crossing maybe 3 times, and as posted they stamp it hand it to you away you go. They did however request I
return it. I personally don' t believe it means a bit if you don't
return it. But I did as instructed, while waiting to cross back,
I let the wife drive while I hopped out and walked to Mex Imm
office, only 200 ft from the vehicle line coming back to the US,
this is maybe the easiest access of any Mex Imm office. People
I have been with didn't bother returning the fmm, and were
not questioned in later entry into Mex. There was a post here
