Juan & I snuck away on our annual Easter week camping adventure to a remote beach in Bahia Concepcion. It was glorious to be away from phones and
the computer and mess around on the beach, snorkel, swim and explore the bahia in our inflatable.
There were less people this year most likely due to the high gas prices but the weather was nice and the ocean was over 80 degrees. We found that the
usual places where scallops live were pretty much decimated by poachers who we would hear going out at night. We didnt see any whale sharks this year
but someone said they were at Playa Coyote...which we visited and longed to have a cerveza with Pompano on his old patio!
Muchas gracias to our amigos who came to our aid when our outboard crapped out...you know who you are!
Hi Shari,
We saw you and Juan east of San Ignacio as we were starting our way north. Kathy and I had a great month in Baja, now we're off to Arizona and Utah
for 4-5 weeks of camping and exploring the parks.
You certainly deserve a rest - you have been so busy! beautiful video but the title says 2013......which actually made me check the date on my
computer lol !
Nice slide show, and tunes! My neighbors down the street just got back from a stay at Rattlesnake beach just a little south of there. I asked about
whale sharks, and they did not encounter any, but had close up encounters with whales while in sea kayaks.
They said they were blue whales, does that sound right to you?
Eighty degree water and wet suits? I did not even use mine when I was there in November....oh all right, I couldn't get it zipped up this year!
If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!
"Could do better if he tried!" Report card comments from most of my grade school teachers. Sadly, still true!
