Looking at the second Google Earth image, there is a "San Gregorio" north of the point in question.
Is that the San Gregorio Rancho southwest of Bahia de los Angeles....or another San Gregorio?
If so, it looks like a great area to explore.....

The San Gregorio area is a great place to explore. One of the highlights near by is the abandoned san Juan mine. Simply amazing what they were able to
do a hundred years ago and the amount of large equipment they were able to get up there.
Off grid, 12-190 watt evergreen solar panels on solar trackers, 2-3648 stacked Outback inverters, 610ah LiFePo4 48v battery bank, FM 60 and MX60
Outback charge controllers, X-240 Outback transformer for 240v from inverters, 6500 watt Kubota diesel generator.

Ged, there is a San Gregorio south of San Juanico as well. Just in case you need a second place to explore.
