Baja Photography and Shark Biology Talk in La Jolla, July 7

Hey now! Wow, I lowered the resolution to <250 kb and now you can hardly see the image! Anyway, this is taken from the Sierra San Pedro Martir from one of the overlooks on the drive up to the park. If you're interested, I am giving a talk on Baja California shark research AND having a gallery-style photography exhibit of Baja images, at the La Jolla public library, July 7 at 6 pm. If you love Baja, this will be an event you will enjoy!

BTW, my name is Dan Cartamil, I am a shark researcher and conservation photographer, at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, this talk I am giving will cover my Baja adventures in those areas over the last decade...

Thanks Dan,

Sounds interesting. My friend had a shark swim by him the other day off Oceanside Harbor. I'd love to join you in La Jolla but I will be in LA working that day. I'm sure some other Nomads will be interested.

And while we're at it, I figured out how to make a 250 kb file a little bigger, so here it is... It looks completely washed out and unsaturated compared to the original but I guess that's part of the radical downsizing effect...
