I've never seen spots like this on a cabrilla before; anyone know what this is?

The blood was what had me fooled, so I had to photoshop it. Jorge is right. Spotted Cabrilla, Epinephelus Analogus.

spotted cabrilla (epinephelus analogus) have round tails. That is a juvenile saw tail grouper(mycteroperca priona). Chuckies picture are leopard grouper(mycteroperca rosacea) which are also frequently called cabrilla .
