Where is Las Tunas and how long does it take to drive there from the old PEMEX in town?
Google maps coordinates would be appreciated.
Would it be a good place to set up a quad and dirt bike rental store?

Turns out the lot is in Las Brisas. Maybe 10 min. from downtown. Not sure if that makes a difference. My dirt knowledge is limited to La Paz where,
in centro, you will be VERY fortunate to find a lot for 150 bucks a meter. Don't know anything about TS but this is a very nice large lot with a
gentle slope and first class view of the ocean. Water and power are in and a fiedo exists. That should count for something? Anyway we were looking
for offers but it looks like all we have so far is complainers. It's not the end of the world as we know it.

For the price you are asking and in Las Brisas you will wait a VERY long time to realize it. I can get you the same size lot within a 2 minute walk to
the beach, sleep with the music of the waves for less than your asking price and in Las Tunas which is a much more desirable location.
No complaints, just a reality check.

Thanks for the coordinates. Looks like there is a lot of development in the area. It's all new to me. I've never ventured north of town but am very
familiar with the areas south of town.
Probably not a bad medium to long term investment. What do you locals think?
Where's the notario? La Paz or is there one in Todos now?

TS is growing along with Pescadero and Cerritos. It is becoming kind of a cutesy, artsy town. The state and municipal governments are investing in
the infrastructure in anticipation of positive growth. Prices for dirt are pretty much proportional to the proximity to the water. (location,
location, etc.) Same thing here in La Paz. For some reason crime tends to be lower in these areas. You could reasonably expect to build a nice,
albeit small, house on the lot in question for a couple hunnert thou. A bunch less than that if you were willing to be a little more "hands on". A
comparable dig would be 4-5X that in Calif. Fixed costs, taxes & utilities etc., would be at least 20% less. In the end then it does not make
economic sense as an investment unless you plan to settle down there and you consider the tranquility and quality of life as a return on your
investment. We are fortunate to have bought a nice place in La Paz years ago but knowing now what we know we would buy it again tomorrow at 3X the
price we paid. Everybody is an expert but notwithstanding what some dirt pimp in TS sez this is a very nice lot and while fifty bucks may be a little
high nowhere is it written that you can't make an offer. BTW the only notario's I know are in La Paz. We did our own fido and saved about $450. We
used #7 and were happy with his work. Some day I'll relate our experience - it was quite entertaining and enlightening.
