azulejo

Our albanil is doing a bano remod. and needs tile. We went to the tile store on Allende and were startled to find they don't sell the std. 4" solid color tiles anymore. Went to the place on Forjadores - same story and Kuroda same. WTF, the only thing they seem to have anymore are those god awful 8 to 14" tiles in some variation of "corporate" beige - really dreadful stuff that reminds you of a low rent apartment in Milpitas. Has anyone seen the good old hard fired 4 or maybe 6" tiles in La P or south of here? Please don't say we have to go to Home D? And no, not the decorative soft stuff on Constitution either.

Every beautiful beach in the world needs a few condo towers - NOT.
