RV space for Ensenada???
I am interested in an RV spot around Ensenada for a 36 foot newer motor home. I will make the stay extended if I like the spot and price.
Please let me know of locations and price info you have knowledge of. I'm open to various situations including property sitting/watching with my RV.

Where in Ensenada would you like to be????
North of the main business/tourist district by the Coral Hotel/Marina; South at the Estero Beach Hotel/resort or out on Punta Banda???
Depends on what you like/want to do and how "close" to Ensenada you want to be.
Premier spot is Estero Beach. Full service and beach front. You can use all hotel amenities. A little on the expensive side, but you can negotiate for
extend stays.
RV park is the lower right corner

There is a really nice RV campground just about 200' past Campo La Jolla, in the Punta Banda area. Full hook-ups, sewer and water, and rates are
negotiable. Plus is beachfront.

Depends on how far you want to be from town, and what services are available

OK, as for where exactly I would want in Ensenada, I will say that I'm a city kid so near downtown is better but I will go out from there to a nice
spot. Along or near the coast is preferable.

North of downtown there are a couple of places along the coast north of the Coral Hotel/Marina.
I would suggest the Estero Beach RV park. You are close to downtown, but far away enough to be quiet. Plenty of places to eat and shop in the Estero
area

Have to agree that Estero provides a great deal of amenities. If you are just looking to store an RV, it may be a bit expensive. But, if you are
looking to stay, then enjoy the two pools and restaurant and bar on site, as well as a number of restaurants nearby. Not to mention gate guaded
security.

I might be looking to stay several months if I like the spot so I will have to check the Price of Estero.

San Miguel is another option. It's right by the first toll plaza going north out of Ensenada.
It's a local hot-spot for surfers, and it would give you more convenient access to Ensenada centro, as well as Guadalupe Valley.
Probably a bit less expensive than Estero as well.

The entire area around Villarino's & La Jolla is very busy and noisy and crowded on the weekends esp. during the summer.
Two other places not so crowded but not full service (and less expensive) are Lomas del Mar towards La Bufadora & El Refugio in Cantu. Punta
Banda tends to be a bit cooler than Ensenada. Estero is O.k. provided you like a lot of traffic/noise.

They are all near the coast, in this area. You'll probably be "near Ensenada" (think 10-15 miles) rather than near downtown, and you wouldn't like
RV-ing near downtown. RV-ers don't hang around Ensenada downtown, other than going to dentist or Migra. There is not much to do in downtown, and
hardly any beaches. Estero is about 10 miles South, and San Miguel - to the North. I'm not a big fan of overpriced places like Estero, but staying
South of the city gives an advantage of easier shopping, with malls and grocery stores way before you reach Ensenada.

12.6 KM or 7.8 miles from Estero Beach RV Park to the Riviera Cultural Center and
13 Km or 8 miles from Estero Beach RV Park to the Giant Flagpole/3 Heads Park on the middle of the tourist district
There is plenty to do downtown, all you have to do is look.....or ask

Thanks for the info, I gave up my apartment in TJ June 1st, moved into my motor home, and I am currently camping in the mountains of CA and Nevada
but when I get back to MX, I will check out these places around Ensenada. I have been to Estero and Punta Banda, both very nice and I will check out
all the other suggestions.
The website for Estero shows an RV spot is 60 dllrs/night with 20% off for long term. $48 x 30= $1440. If that's the cost, it's too much money.

Didn't Hussongs build a RV park along the bay in the northern part of town?

Hussong used to have a beachcamp behind Quintas Papagayo. It's the only camp I've ever seen that was closed for future development around '89. Owner
gave the long time tenants a year to vacate. Some did...others tried to fight it. A year almost to the day from the notice, the bulldozers were at
their door.
Anyway, I think they did put something there.
