Dog Friendly Hotel in Ensenada, S. Ignacio and S.Rosalia

Can anyone suggest a dog friendly hotel in the Ensenada area for an overnight headed north. Santa Rosalia and San Ignacio too. Thanks...

Try Las Palmas. You can see their website at resortlaspalmas.com.

It's dog friendly, a big place with secure parking. Also very handy to Mex 1 and lots of restaurants within walking distance. It's across the highway from the Naval Base.

We stayed there in April and then again in May. Apparently there is another place with a similar name, but the above website is the correct one.

La Huerta in San Ignacio allows dogs.

The phone number is good: from USA 011 52 615 154-0016.

Stayed at La Huerta in San Ignacio with the pooch several months ago with no problems.

Do you know if there are certain dedicated rooms at La Huerta, or run of the house. My understanding when we stay at Jardines in San Quintin, is they have designated rooms.

I have a severe allergy to dog dander, and have, in the past had to wake up gasping for air, because we were in a room where a dog had been.

I'm not a pussy. Just someone who has allergies.

Stop wining and complaining just because you can't breath! What a puss.

I would hate to report something that is not true but I THINK that they DID NOT have any dedicated rooms for dogs, unlike Jardines. I just requested a room and told them I had a dog and they put me on the ground floor just down from the office which I would consider a prime location room.

If that was a dedicated dog room, I apologize to the establishment.

Just giving my opinion.

I may wine from time to time, but I do not whine.:P

I have considered staying at La Huerta on out upcoming trip South, which will help me avoid GN.
