MX getting SENTRI?
My novia is a MX citizen, she has a BCC and gets an I-94 visa when needed when we go beyond the 20 mile border zone.
She's employed in MX she is a teacher and works for the Baja CA government. Teaches English/Spanish by the way.
It's a PITA that I have SENTRI and she does not since we cross often and I drive through and she gets out and walks through the REDI line. Saturday
morning my wait was 10 minutes, hers nearly 2 hours.
Looking at the CBP web site I can't see any reason that she can't apply and get SENTRI (she has a clear past except for hooking up with me).

Thousands of Mexican citizens have SENTRI. The only difference is that when you go for your interview you have to bring proof that you are admissible
to the U.S. Since she has a B1/B2 visa (required for the BCC) it should not be a problem at all.

She can also apply for Global Entry which is cheaper, quicker, and a less awful interview than SENTRI. The only reason she'd need SENTRI specifically
is if she needed to have her vehicle inspected -- and even then, she can get Global Entry, make an application for her vehicle, and get it inspected
at Otay Mesa or Calexico for $42.

As dasubergeek said get the Global Entry, it is in fact cheaper, can be used just like SENTRI including having a car linked to it. The benefit is it
can also be used to bypass immigration when flying where SENTRI is only good for land and sea.

All SENTRI participants are now enrolled in Global Entry. You don't use the card when you fly back in; your trusted traveler status is recorded on
your passport record, so you just use the Global Entry kiosks with your passport.
