Here is the website I got the info from and it has a very neat animation of what we will see.
What a good excuse for a margarita party, eh?

Thanks for details. (The moon is already very bright tonight, even here in San Diego.)

Was posted on national web, and also wasn't mentioned the time on Pacific, Mountain, Mountain Standard (AZ), Central, or Eastern time zones. How
about an update? Baja has two time zones. I think.
BTW, a Mor(m)on author is touting it's a 'sign of the apocalypse", so should be fun to watch. If the Angel maroooni blows his horn there'll be Sky
Rat (pigeon) chit all over Salt Lake City all the way to Draper. I'm gonna watch it with a martini in the hot tub; hope you all enjoy it too!
I don't have a BUCKET LIST, but I do have a F***- IT LIST a mile long!

willy -that is a beautiful photo
the moon has been just gorgeous the last couple days and todays should be just as spectacular.
Buddha - the information I posted is for BAJA SUR
If you punch in the city you want (on the site I posted), it will give you the schedule for that particular area.

Just for fun: Does anyone know, without looking it up, why the moon turns red?

Dark moon here in San Marcos too! Shall I take a pic?
So sorry, I recently upgraded to Windows 10, and I have no idea what happened to the photo I emailed to myself from my phone camera... Let's just say
the moon is really darkened out and just a corner has a reddish glow.

No moon in Anchorage tonight, it's raining. Forecast is for snow Tuesday!
I think I better head south!
And one more big thumbs up for Willy's moon shot!

great that you posted pics Willy because I did not take any. It was so clear out - the sky was perfect for viewing the eclipse and a blood moon it
was!
Les and I were wondering if we'll be here in 33 when it happens again....I say yes!

Great photos Willy...we gathered at Beth's place which faces east to watch this fantastic spectacle! It was absolutely stunning to watch it all
through quality binoculars...the colours were otherworldly...that plum turning to deep peach below was breathtaking. I am so glad we witnessed it!
then when it was half over, the plum turned to a burnt orange and looked like...yes amigos...a comb over...the Trump moon! wow...oh geeze...now I've
gone and done it...this political thing is catching.
