Pet Friendly Ferry? La Paz-Mainland

I know I've read it on this forum somehwere, but. For 5 years I've taken the BC Ferry overnight from La Paz to Mazatlan. I am certain that all dogs must stay down below in the hold with the car. This year I'm a new dog world person.... What's the other ferry line that I've heard allows contact with our pooches?
And do they have online ticket purchases?

The cargo ferry line is called FerryTMC.

It is the black painted ship that passes inside Isla Cerralvo as opposed to the white painted BajaFerry passenger ferries.

Website: http://www.ferrytmc.com/

Parking is on the open top deck rather than below decks. Access to your vehicle (and pet) is available during the voyage.

Two reports -

Post your impressions after the trip.

Buena suerte!

RnR, Thanks for those links! Two years ago, I considered doing a loop down to La Paz, then heading down the mainland a ways before heading north What discouraged me was what my dog would have to endure on the ferry crossing.

I could do an over nighter in my car with her, no problem. Leaving her in a kennel on the freight deck for 18 hours was a no go.

If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!

"Could do better if he tried!" Report card comments from most of my grade school teachers. Sadly, still true!

Baja Ferries does not allow you to leave your dog/pet in your car. They have a pet area where you leave your pet in a cage/kennel. You can supply your own (like we did) or use theirs. They didn`t really want us to visit our dog but we convinced him (100 pesos handshake) to let us visit a couple of times that night.
