Baseball was one of the joys I had while living in Mulege. Unless one attended some of those games you would never know how good the players are. The skill level is huge! It is a great game and the leagues compete Baja wide, and to a greater degree, country wide.

Is it still being played over beyond the Cathedral next to the school? The field and the stands were pretty well ruined by flood. I hope they have been repaired.

On a great weather day, you could even experience a double header. You would know many of the local players. They had recorded organ music that were taken from United States ball parks. They also had a live Mariachi band. And if that weren't enough, they sold hot dogs right along side tacos. Would you like mustard or piquante sauce? :bounce:

Yes and there was a big citizen clean up this last weekend, but there is an effort to move everything out to La Ventura field as there is more shade, parking and places for hot dog stands. They can not believe stadium beers are 4 to 5 dollars in the usa. Yesterday Tkt was 12 pesos. It is a family outing with grills, coolers and snacks. One of the players wrote on FB, ''we are poor, but we have fun.'' and it always is fun!

What century are you in?

Dodger stadium beers are at least $8-$10 and up!
