10 daze SOB

Rolled into BdeLa on the 8th? and spent 4-5 days enjoying the hell out of it! We dodged rain squalls for 3 days and got out on the water twice to fish the points along the south bay. Nice bass and grouper and a whack of small barracuda. We only kept the two fish pictured. Gilligan's Island was awesome until the invisible jellyfish attacked. Here's some pics:

Then it was of to Asuncion for some tuna time. We arrived to find that the tail end of the storm we endured was blowing over BA. Sunset provided a water spout right out front on the Blowhole. Fishing was good, especially for the sea lions. Final score was us 2 sea lions 4. We did see a dead one floating with a seagull riding it so that made me feel better! Had a great time surfing with two guys from Sweden, of all places. Our last night was spent cooking and sharing a big Tri-tip with a bunch of good people who all brought some good eats to the fiesta. We hit TJ border at 10pm and proceeded to wait for 2+hours to talk to the nice guy at the gate. We were on out way after less than a minute. Great trip once again!

This morning a job offer arrived in my inbox so I'm stoked on life even more!

ALDO!

And finally, I thought it was cold in Sweden? Wetsuit in the pool? Must be a habit.

Oh, and Parcela 12 in south San Quintin is absolutely amazing! They kept offering a full plate refill but we were stuffed on the first pass. $12 for two including a jamaica each!

I grew up in Sweden, and happen to be in Sweden right now. Less than an hour ago, I told a buddy the story of the strange series of coincidences that led me to buy a place in Baja. Oh, and it's pretty cold here.

It's always fun when Woody & Bia are in town! It was cool ya got to surf with Aldo and the Swedes...pretty good surf all October so far!

You know what's really weird Woody...the guys who rolled in after you left have been fishing every day on their fancy Trophy sportfisher and have had not one sea lion bother them. They caught an 80 lb wahoo yesterday, tuna, dorado, and the yellowtail showed up now too. they also saw a bunch of thresher sharks breaching alot!

congratulations on the new job bro! Love you both
