2015 Nov. 12-13: Tecate to Guerrero Negro

Quick check of utility trailer and it's registration at Mexican Customs, then painless drive through construction detour, usual busy traffics spots through northern towns, waived through military checkpoint, a bit of construction around Santa Marta and beautiful weather all the way.

Nov 13 - SQ to GN: easy drive, dry landscape until Catavina, usual potholes in section following Santa Ynez, light traffic, a few pre-runners out.

Enjoy your weekend,
W

Construction, still? How many years has the Tecate to Ensenada highway been under construction?

Yup...and Santa Marta is near San Vicente:

The road improvements are widening of Mex 1 and seem to be associated with a new Ruta de Vino marketing thing south of Maneadero and make for a smoother, safer ride. I like it.

If you've not been through Baja for a while, you'd be surprised at how things are a-change-ing.
