Ryan Villopoto Racing Baja in Spec TT

Anyone know of the Brenthal group? That is who RV is pre-running with. I understand he will be racing from RM80 to RM225 in a Spec TT.

Just heard it's truck 873.

I was wondering the Same Dave... Usually, TW gives a bit more data with his posts?

Many time Supercross Champion from Washington state, retired this summer.

He had many battles with James Stewart, Chad Reed and Ryan Dungey. His signature move was to put in several blazingly fast laps to establish a large lead early then manage the gap for the remainder of the race.

I have not heard of him ever doing any cross county on 2 wheel or 4.

Retired from supercross in his prime to go race the world. Never heard of him racing trucks but he certainly isn't afraid to go fast.

Sorry DK and DT I should have explained better. Yes as mcnut says a multi time Supercross and Motocross champion. After winning his 4th SX champioship in 2014 he opted to go to Europe and race the MXGP series for 2015. Many considered him the best in the world in motocross and felt sure he would win the world MXGP title. His on the edge riding style was exciting. Things didn't go so well. He did win one round but in the 6th or so race he crashed hard and broke his tail bone. He then retired. Now it appears he is racing a truck in Baja.

I don't know if it's true but it was reported that Kawasaki paid him 4 million to race MXGP.

I should also add Ryan V is a very professional and class act.

As a youth he dominated the mini ranks. He also overcame several catastrophic injuries to again compete at the top level. I think in the end he timed out not so much physically but more motivationally, he's still a young man.

Several years ago he won the top prize ($1,000,000) at the fall special Las Vegas non-point race (Monster Energy Cup) by winning every heat.
Not bad for a nights work.
