Dog Friendly Hotel in Mulege
Hi Nomad's,
My wife and I are heading south for a few weeks from San Diego and plan to spend our first night at the Old Mill in San Quintin and second night in
Mulege.
Does anybody have a recommendation for a dog friendly hotel?
Thanks,
Mike

Hotel Hacienda. In town, secure parking. Stayed there with our two Labs about a month ago

I stayed at La Serenidad on the south side of town off the highway. Well marked. Secure parking, place is like a fortress, had my two dogs and lotsa
running space for them beside the compound. Airstrip right beside the compound. Good restaurant, if you go on Saturday, get tickets for the Pig
Roast. Pretty much caters to gringos, but the rooms are big. $890 pesos/nite includes pets, $250/per person for the pig roast.
regards,
Keith

If you have never been to serenidad, that is where I recommend -so
much history!
If you want a full house to yourself, try Clementine's owned by Cliff.

I'll second Clementine's. My dog and I haven't tried the other places but we are fans of Clementine's.

And if you want a great inexpensive meal, try Comida Economica on the street behind the Hacienda. The one you use to get into the hotel parking lot.
Small and quiet. Not a bar.
The best food for the price I have had in 40+ years down here.

Traveled with dogs throughout the republic, never had a problem with not allowing dogs, (especially in BCS). Some may require an additional deposit,
but most are welcome to have your business. As far as Mulege, my dog and I stayed a night on the road at the motel on the right as you leave town
going north.
