as party town?...

Yes,
Stay at the resort you booked and party there.

Fish and golf during the day and party at night. Repeat as often as your body holds up.

Wendy & I would call it a "shopping mecca". With many places to stop & catch our breath, like I think is Poncho's with over 150 brands of Tequila. Cabo Wabo. Giggling Marlin, etc. etc. Plus mild excitement can be found at the Office on Medino Beach. And there is the marina to do your yachat shopping. Rent a car and go up to Todas Santos. Party at the Hotel California. And as one said. Fish. Sun bath. swim in your hotel/resorts pools, or if your fortunate enough to have your own private Infinity pool, float around with a pina colata in your hand. But most of all, enjoy the temperature which right now is 75 deg. and sunny, and here in Roseburg Oregon it's 41 and been raining.
Merry Christmas to all that read these posts, and same to all my fellow Nomads. Hope to see many of you next year as we pass through to Cabo. P&W

You mean as in 1 beer? Noticed some 25 peso beer in Ensenada.
The Cape does get bashed a lot, heard it referred to Lost Cabo.
As long as it doesn't creep too far up the peninsula, I imagine it
is good for Baja. I don't think Baja tourism relies on some of
us camping on a free beach with our 2-10 cases of Pacifico

Party town?

Does a frog have a water tight pooper?
Does a wooden horse have a hickory dick?

You get the idea, the answer is yes. If your young, go for it.

Been there, done that for most of us.

...I think of it as LA south., appropriate in sooo many ways.

yeh,,I guess it helps the baja economy a fair bit,,other than that,it's my -last- choice on baja for a fun place to visit.

...san Jose del Cabo has a lot more going for it, IMHO

Of course Cabo is a party town at night. During the day, lots to eat and shopping is over the top.

Lots of folks fly in for the weekend, and get down all night. I recommend not being on the streets drunk when it's late.

Remain calm and party on.

So many great restaurants and bars. Anyone who just stays at their resort is really missing out.

The restaurants run the gamut of cuisines.

And factually, any bar or restaurant you patronize is going to be much less expensive than any of the places at your resort.

If you fly in, rent a car so you can travel about and find these places.

Anyone who flies to Cabo and just stays at their resort is missing out on so much.

Cabo Wabo is easy walk to a dozen centro hotels. Sammy played couple months ago at his Birthday Bash.
