We met Graham Mackintosh in San Diego!

Happy New Year everyone! On the last day in san diego, right when the torrential rains started, we got to meet up with Graham Mackintosh. I thought he and Les would get a hoot out of meeting each other since both are British.

They went for a pint while I was busy buying last minute items to take south. Then we met up at my mom's house:

and Graham was the lucky winner of the ride through Ocean Beach in Les's new toy - unfortunately, this car is NOT wind nor rain proof and they both froze!

So, one item off my bucket list! We got to meet the Baja Legend himself!

Fun! Graham is definitely on the Baja Bucket Legend list. (he also does great slide shows.)

I got "Grahamed" while camping at Bahia Concepcion one summer, many many many years ago, and noticed a red head at the next palapa down the beach, hauling a kayak out for a paddle.

I wondered then (and now): How does he keep his skin from frying in the Baja sun?
