I also watched the videos of the sessions at Jaws and those guys surfing those waves are in another realm. We were in Maui a few years ago and watched
as best we could from the cliff as 30-40 foot waves rolled in and guys could only tow surf. Amazing stuff.
On the contrary Hook...several of the guys that surfed Jaws on Friday were invited to the Todos contest and are regulars on the Big Wave World Tour.
They flew back to the mainland on Saturday and headed south to Ensenada to be ready for the Todos contest on Sunday.
