Why all of the spleen inspired rage?

I guess that I am out of the loop and should be paying better attention, but....a fellow listed as ELIVESTIG8R has a diatribe attached to his posts that seem to be really inflammatory. Did I miss out on an argument or dispute that would warrant such a high level of hate on his part. It is recognized that Baja Nomad is quite flexible in allowing opinions but this seems to be way over the top. Why is his post not edited? I am hoping that he does not live in Loreto as I would not want to encounter him at Augie's. On the other hand...he could be a very likable guy?

David (Elinvestig8r) hasn't posted on a Baja forum here since March, 2015... per search? Stuff on Off Topic is not included, however. Off Topic is a cesspool so maybe that is why the host doesn't ban his signature if that's the only place he posts now.

If you have questions about David, consider posting it at off topic.

Best to leave him alone. Really, enough reading and you'll answer your own questions.

David's a good man. Doesn't get along with everybody, but who does?
Leave him alone.
Jeeezo....this is like having a conversation in a graveyard.

On June 8, 2013, Jihad Salman was so frightened he would not open his front door for Elinvestig8r after inviting him for coffee. What a worthless coward piece of SH*T you are. You finally answered my two questions for legal purposes. Number 1: Are you inviting me to come over to your house for coffee? Number 2: Are you saying I can turn the doorknob of your front door and just walk into your house without knocking? After you answered those questions on January 5, 2016, I came over for coffee but you refused to unlock your front door. All I came looking for from you is an apology for outing my sworn peace officer son! I know you called your detective friend after my first visit. He is Detective Robert R. Leyba Temple City Sheriff’s Station Office: (626)292-3307 e-mail: rrleyba@lasd.org – He called me and I spoke to him about your false complaint. That is how I know you called him. Jihad Jay Ezzeddine Salman JoeJustJoe you are a tranny penis sucking, tranny penis goo drinking homo Arab internet terrorist!

Guess again, DK.

I had to go check out this guy's signature. Offensive? Probably so, but my real take-away after reading his posts is that the guy has long, loud arguments with park benches, aka certified nuts.

David has a long and interesting Baja background, being raised by Baja legend Mama Espinosa after escaping from a notorious cult as a young boy. He regularly visits her and sometimes posts on his visits. She is well past 100 years old now. He posted an interesting account of this some years back here on Nomads, but I haven't been successful in digging it up out of the archives. It's probably there somewhere but I don't have the expertise to find it.

Several books have been written about his family and a movie was made about it. I don't know many people who would have handled it as well as he has...He is also a Msgt. USMC (retd) Say what you will that didn't come out of a cracker box.....

Sorry to stir up a hornets nest. I have no knowledge of what precipitated the animosity and strife. I do not know how to enter off topic nor do I have the inclination to investigate it if the site is full of venom. I would rather surround myself with likable people. Again...sorry for causing a problem.

Just wondering Bajabuddha, if that post was in off-topic. Even if it was, the posting of so much personal info seems out of bounds.

I know enough about David to make me feel like something very nasty was involved here.

Wodd, LOOK IT UP. This site isn't that hard to navigate; I put the date and time of the thread post, it was on the main boards, and STILL IS. Just go to the bottom of the first page of posts, and see the box "Show thread activity from the past....", type in '7 days', and look at the date I stated. It WAS NOT on OT... I expected this argument from DK. So, on "Baja News", we have the proof... especially the last few lines, which I think pretty much state the power he has on these boards. If anyone else would have written them, they'd be banned... totally filthy and obscene. Something nasty involved? Are you blind, or just confused??? the JJJ/El-8r feud is long history. Look at El's avatar and message on the left (with the cute little rat).

Jayzus man, you can't be that dense.

That sort of stuff stays over on Off Topic unless someone quotes it over here. Please don't do that.
