Ensenada hotel

After deciding to go visit a dentist in Ensenada for my daughters teeth implants etc. I would like to maybe avoid the purchase of a 5th wheel and stay at a mid priced hotel in the area.
Any Baja Nomads recent recommendations for a Mid price motel / Hotel. 2 rooms for a week or so.
Gracias.

I've stayed several times in the Villa Marina hotel. Tall hotel before the Conference Center. $55-$60 range booked on line like Booking.com. Can't beat the view from the bar on top.

The San Nicolas is nice but a little pricey. Across the street is the Motel Colon that is a cheaper alternative. Both have secure parking.

Yeah, but San Nicolas has a casino. Maybe you can pay for everything with a fortuitous roll of the dice.

We prefer the San Nicolas. Very secure, and a wonderful pool. A decent restaurant as well. And as Dennis mentioned, if you have the taste for gambling, there is a casino in the building.

Don't know if they are still doing it, but the last time we stayed there, we got a coupon for use at the casino.
