what type of fishing boat is this??
I have to admit I have never seen one of these. I see the reel near the cabin and am thinking some kind of long liner set up. Any one have an idea
pass it along please.

With a drum mid ship and a table near the stern for baiting and an opening in the gunnel for trash fish I would think a small long liner.

Looks like a boat that will catch all the remaining fish in the Sea of Cortez: 5" Spotted Bay Bass.

What's a hair-lipped dog doing on a submarine (besides marking)?

Hmmm.... you're right, they are two different vessels upon closer inspection. Both apparently for the same purpose.... or porpoise, depending.... and
