San Diego to San Ignacio Lagoon 2/13

Leaving SD 2/13 about 8:00, towing small trailer. Overnight in Catavina or GN then on to San Ignacio Lagoon for a few days.
Would like to meet up with anyone else heading south if possible.
Headed back 2/19 😎

Post on Facebook, in the Talk Baja Caravan user group. There are a lot of caravan listings.

We like to travel with a small group, makes it fun, you get to share info and experiences.
We don't mind driving down solo, have done it many times since the 70's.
First time to San Ignacio lagoon, expecting a fabulous trip! 🐋🐳🐬
Thx for the welcome! 😎

Been to the San Ignacio lagoon a couple of times, but in my opinion, the best chance for a great whale experience is in Ojo de Liebre. That also includes our trip to Mag Bay.

You can camp out by the lagoon as well.

We went to Ojo last year. Very enjoyable, three trips out, each with a whale encounter. Just thought we'd give Ignacio a try.
Our plans are flexible, less driving, more time for relaxing if we go to Ojo again.
We were planning on utilizing Kuyima facilities for dinners and showers. How do they compare with Ojo camp?

Ojo and san Ignacio are totally different. Much different vibe. If you have been to Ojo, then try san Ignacio.

Kuyima is nicer than Ojo, IMO, but it's a matter of taste,...

Been to both many times. In my humble opinion the experience is better in SI. From the town to the lagoon it's better. :saint:

Thx for the input, we'll try SI this time. We do like the town and we can always stop by Ojo on the way back.
Looking forward to our adventure.
