Anyone seen this beer in Baja?

I was accosted at my local IPA dispensary in SD yesterday by a cutie dressed in traditional Mexican garb who asked if I'd try a new import. The mini-skirt prolly affected my decision to sample the beer!

It ain't 1/2 bad!

Anheuser-Bush (Budweiser etc) bought Grupo Modelo (Pacifico etc), then Belgian InBev (Stella Artois etc) bought Anheuser-Bush

You can find it most everywhere in Tj, Ensenada, Mexicali or Tecate, as long the store sells Modelo beers.

ESTRELLA http://www.estrellajalisco.com/#our-beer is a light Guadalajara local beer http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/75/11702/, now sold most all over (?) great with tortas ahogadas or birria from Jalisco, you may also want to try VICTORIA a slightly darker beer...

I haven't seen it in the rosarito/ensenada area but here's some reviews that sound like they had to come from bajablowhard beer aficionado's! ;)

Nice shot Carlosg, I hope to someday find that Corona Familiar in 12 oz bottles. Where did you find those ? I have only been able to find the big ones.
I was Sooooo disappointed to find that our new Modelorama in BA wasn't carrying Corona Familiar either.

Normally would not pay much attention to posts re:beer, but I'm beginning to develop some beer-buds (taste buds for beer sampling) thanks to inheriting shares of a local craft beer business my dad left as part of his trust. He invested with them decades ago- fun place to visit with friends. Even more fun to tell the servers I'm a partner!

(thanks dad! you always knew how to encourage people to enjoy life.)

You can find it most anywhere that Modelo beers are sold: Oxxo, Soriana, groceries and liquor stores, your local Modelorama, etc... just remember these are returnable bottles.

Sorry, I think your talking about the dark bottle aren't you? Those I've only seen and bought in the mainland or as my relatives say: en el sur... But in lieu try Victoria, similar I can say.
