San Quintin fish report anyone? Boat / Captain recommendation?
We are headed to San Quintin to fish in a few weeks and I haven't fished there in over a year.
We want to go offshore for tuna if they are around and want more than a panga. Please help with -
1. Recommendations for a Captain / boat to head offshore that you have had good experience with lately. If you have a phone number too that would
help.
2. Any recent fish report.
Thanks!

Check Bloodydecks. Capitan Jamie is my fav. Juan and Kelly are both very good.
Looks like the bite is slow right now but usually this is when it starts to get really good.

hola fishbuck,
seems like capt. juan is about the only one advertising on bloodydecks these days.
i've read that k & m isn't advertising any longer as they are going onto facebook and instagram.
possibly due to costs to place reports ( ads ) on bloodydecks ? i talked to a tackle shop owner in gardena and he said he can't afford to advertise on
bloodydecks ?
anyway, the outfitters that i am aware of that have bigger boats to go further offshore are titos, capt. juan and k & m.
we just updated to microsoft 10 and i can't figure out how to use the info i stored on my flash drive. i gives out gibberish !!! i'll post outfitters
info later.
BIEN SALUD, DA RAT

Captain Juan is all over bloodydecks. I've drank beer with him. Cool cat and speaks good English (if that is important). I'd hire him.

We fished Monday and Tuesday this week for all bottom fish. Nice big reds and lings with plenty of quantity. We wanted yellowtail but struck out.
Today they nailed yellowtail and lots of them in the same spot we fished earlier this week. Hit and miss but that's fishing.

Jerry,
I've never fished with Captain Juan but over the years have communicated with him through the BloodyDecks forum. One day last fall as I was idling
down the estero towards Lopez Mateos on AP cleaning wahoo Ruben who was fishing inside with Juan and Robert Baker hailed me to introduce us. It was
good to put faces with names. If I were looking for a boat to fish on out of SQ my first call would be to Juan. I'm not sure but I think he has a

good pangadero
Try Jaime...He knows the water and the fish there like the back of his hand. I have fished with him many times and he is one of the captains that is
always booked because he is one of the best.
