Current road conditions, TJ to Loreto.

Leaving for Loreto at the end of the week, was wondering if anyone has some first hand info on the road conditions.

Must be another secret surf spot! More details are on a need to know basis.

The best we can do is to tell you that the road conditions between Santa Rosalia and Loreto are deplorable.

As to where the heck "TH" is...BTFOOM

Yeah, I thought it was a typo when I first saw it. I could have politely pointed it out, but what fun would that be?

Sorry, I got nothing about the roads, except what I read here.

Cataviņa to BdlA turn off - pothole heaven
easy sailing until Santa Rosalia
a few damaged arroyo crossings to Mulege
very little damage to Loreto

Eight or so washed out arroyos between Santa Rosalia and Loreto.
Mostly to the south of SR and before Mulege.

All easily passable with any car.

At the bottom of hill coming into SR....and all the way into town, it's dried mud, rocky and lots of dust.
