How to Get From Yuma To San Felipe Without A Car?

Hi

I'll be flying into Yuma in a few weeks.
What transportation options do I have to get to San Felipe besides renting a car and driving?
I know there is a bus from Mexicali to San Felipe so that is what I plan to do BUT
What would be the best way to get to Mexicali?
I know greyhound goes there but I believe it's 3/4 hours which seems crazy since it's an hour by car...
Anyone know if a taxi or some kind of a shared ride service is available to get to Mexicali?

Thank you!

Jen

There is van service from Yuma to Rio San Luis, Mexico and from there you can purchase a ticket to wherever in Mexico. A ticket from Yuma to Rio San Luis,Mexico should be around $7.00.

I think the bus from Yuma to calexico is only an hour.

There are a bunch of van transport lines that cater to Mexicans, not sure if the are on the web.

Thanks for the replies!

Bacquito,

Do you know where I can pick up a van to the border?
And did you mean I could get a bus from San Luis to San Felipe?
Or would I have to go to Mexicali to get the bus to S F?
Sorry I'm not familiar with the area at all and not finding much help online ( except in this forum).

Thanks!

Thanks for the link, desertcpl,
Also if I read it right the bus only runs on Monday and Thursday which doesn't help me.
