Trip to Bahia S Luis Gonzaga
We took of on Friday 9/16, crossed the border around 8 am got there around 4, the road from Mexicali to San Felipe is in very good conditions, from
San Felipe to Puertecitos is decent conditions looks like some spots were washed by heavy rain, but you can drive it safe at 45 MPH, there are some
dips but just drive safe and slow down a little bit, if you are towing a trailer you have to slow down (keep the eye on how high is your hit from the
ground)
From Puertecitos to B S Luis Gonzaga is in excellent conditions, according with people from Campo Beluga it was built about year ago.
Weather was awesome around 95 F, but Monday morning a light tropical depression hit the area with some rain.
We met a lot of people, they are friendly and willing to help you, Gordo has a small boat and sells fish, clams and stingray every day, By the main
raod is a small market el Rancho with a lot of items groceries, but pricey, almost double price compared to Calimax, or OXXO.
We hired Jesus from punta final to do the trip looking for the whale Shark, he charged 3,000 pesos around 180 Dls, after were looking for the Shark
for 90 finally we found them, there is one, no 1,2,3,4 . .7 whale sharks, my 2 sons and I jumped to the water in order to swim with them, attached you
can find a video and some pictures.

Thank you!
The Puertecitos to Gonzaga section was costructed and paved from 2007 through 2013. It is very different than the San Felipe to Puertecitos highway
built in 1982 and paved poorly by 1990, and repaved 2005-2007.

I like watching videos, but you need to edit and trim the video to make it interesting. Photoshop Elements Premier is a great video editing tool for
not to much money.

Thank you every one!
David K, yep!, Just comment about Puertecitos to Bahia Gonzaga the road is in very good conditions, with some parking spots to park and take
pictures.
Cortez Blue! Thank you for the advice! I will trim it. Actually had a hard time with go-pro camera and video editor.
We are doing plans to go in November again.
Thanks
