Any shops in ensenada or rosarito for good deals on area rugs?

When I'm looking for something I just drive around on the weekend, there are tons of people out and about selling just about everything in Ensenada.
Area rugs are not cheap if you buy them in a retail store. I bought a sofa, rug, bed frame, and heater for 1500 pesos.

That's true! Lots of good deals at the street flea markets. Of course a rug with fleas would not be good. 8^)

We've been to the huge flea market in Rosarito on Sundays a couple of times. North end of town just east of the toll road, across the toll road from Home Depot more or less. Blocks and blocks of stalls selling everything. Every Sunday. Go early in the morning. It gets crowded.

well, this is off the wall but the most beautiful area rugs are made by some of the ranch families in the mountains here in Baja Sur. I don't know any personally but I was given this beauty 5 years ago by one of my students who visited a ranch:
