Yes, and if you use this site, the money stays in Baja California Sur. It is very simple. Go to http://www.bajasursportfishing.com

Yes, if you go for the annual license. But as Blanca says you can pay with your Credit Card and it will show in dollars at the current exchange rate.

Get it on-line. The tackle shops and visitor centers are hit and miss with licenses.

Make sure you turn off you browser pop up blocker. If you have trouble their contact phone number works and they can resend to your email in minutes.

yes, as martyman stated. DO get it online.
before going to san quintin, i had the outfitters U. S. representative call them to make sure they had licenses for us. no they don't ! well, i had
asked about a month before our trip for him to make sure they had them.
earlier this year, i called a well known tackle shop that advertised that they carry one week mexican fishing licenses and i called them the day
before. when i got there the next day, they were out ! their excuse was they had sold about a hundred of them the day that i arrived around 1:00 P.M.
so, doing it online and getting it early is a major benefit.

I have done this before but it bears repeating. In Baja California Sur the sale of licenses is done by FONMAR. This is a trust that was set up to
deal with conservation issues, enforcement, education, and as a communication channel with the Federal Government. If you decide to buy a license
from a San Diego Sporting Goods store or a travel club, the money goes to Ensenada or direct to DF. None of that money ends up here in Baja
California Sur where we need the help and resources. I have been involved with the FONMAR guys for many years now and I can relate that they are
doing a wonderful job with the monies they have. Please help support this by buying your license either from their website or from a local dealer.

Sr Geko computer shop in Mulege will get them for you.

Is this a "Federal" (ALL Mexico) license or just for BCS (Southern Baja)?

WOW...!!!
In the past I've bought our licenses at CONAPESCA in San Diego, I just called the listed number on their website (+1(805) 857-9349 -forget calling the
612 number no one answers-) and asked regarding if its a Federal License: YES it is!!! And the best part is that you save almost 10 bucks on each
applicant and you can do it online ($36.82 USD)...!!! AWESOME... CONAPESCA ($46.40 USD) has its own markup because they're in the US... I don't have
to go downtown anymore and deal with parking and waiting in line and.... WOW this is great news...!!!!
Muchas Gracias por compartir...!!!

I just got mine with only a couple of clicks... must turn off pop-up blocker in order to print license, the only thing that caught my attention is
that my address appeared as: La Paz, BCS other than that every thing is okay.
