Ford 6.7 stuck in La Paz
I've had camshaft position transmitter and crankshaft position transmitter do the same thing. Die just driving down the road.

We own a 2011 6.7 F 350 but it does have DEF system and the truck you referenced as made in Mexico does not. That is a big difference and thus we are
not apples to apples.
CPS was an issue in 7.3s we own for sure until they came out with the fix, a functioning CPS. Do not think the CPS is a problem in 6.7s.
Our experience with these type of electrical issues, which is what this appears to be, is often traceable to rodent damage on wiring harnesses. A
thorough inspection of all wiring harnesses should be performed. One must be careful to look at every mm of the harness. Often rodent damage is
under manifiolds or other bolt ons and requires removal of such to properly inspect and of course repair.
Just an idea spawned from first person experience.
Btw, our 6.7 has been a fine power plant giving us reliable and fairly economical performance unladen or at full CGVW.

I have a 7.3 the cps seem to go out around 120k miles more or less. it's an easy inexpensive fix. keep an extra in cab of truck just in case...
I know nothing about newer ford diesels...

I own a 2006 6.0 diesel and I have the TPS and CPS sensors in my box, along with EGR valve, belt, upper and lower radiator hoses, etc.,
I have never ever had a problem in Baja, put 1000's of miles on down there.
Make sure to carry a 1/2" breaker bar to move the belt tensioner
BUT I did do all of the so-called "Bullitt-Proofing" to it...
and regardless of what the naysayers have hear, this is a good engine if you take care of the weak points in the system...
Tough to find a good low mileage 6.0 anymore less than 20K

Not just truck's either; SWMBO drives a 2003 G35 and they went out - had to tow it in but fix is 'relatively' cheap.

For you 7.3 owners, I just had my belt tensioner pulley go out on my engine at 231k. I noticed my belt was shredding and that the belt had jumped one
groove. I was in Ely, NV. and it was raining so I had no interest in changing the belt on a hot diesel engine in the rain. The shop had the old belt
off, tested all the pulleys and found the tensioner bearing/busing was shot as the pulley was wobbling; hence the jumped groove. The local Napa had it
in stock. I was back on the road in an hour.
Anyway, test all those pulleys when you decide to replace your belt.
