Bahia Asuncion early November fishing report

We had a few cold windy days this week which put a damper on the wahoo fishing but today was real nice and our anglers caught a nice mixed bag but the dang bonita kept biting instead of wahoo....so they moved up to San Pablo area where they caught some nice whitefish, and black sea bass, and yellowtail then to the island for some calico and sand bass to fill their coolers to take back to San Felipe. Other guests of ours with their own boat did get a nice wahoo further north.

As often is the case....CHICKS RULE!!!! Marjorie caught the biggest & most fish and she said....yes size DOES matter...

Charlie fought this ray for a long time...and they released it. They had a great few days here fishing and exploring on their quads.

Great !!

Keep telling that they're bigger winners when they release their fish.

I'm with Joe on the release...good to hear. Not my first time to the rodeo but is that a sand bass in the first pic? Yikes! If so, never knew they got that big! Great report as always.

Lot's of people fishing in BA. We tried to get a date with Taraya and he's booked solid. Hope Juan is booked solid, too! Glad to see so many new and returning fishermen.

Very cool, Shari! We are trying to make it down in December for some BIG yellowtail...
