Excellent video, you should get together with David K and use your drone to look for the Diaz grave.

I'm using the DJI phantom 4. But DJI just came out with the Mavic which has the same functionality, but is ultra portable. That's what I'd recommend.

It's Salt Creek, on 190 about 7 miles south of the turn off to Stovepipe Wells.

Thanks been a long time since there .... And the use of a drone is way cool to capture some of the feel ya get when out there

Must say, your handling was impressive ... liked the music too

might feel ok trying to fly one out there ... urban area's no way, plus I couldn't ever get any good a a small cheap one to see if I could fly ... which I couldn't .. I was terrible .. just awful ... of course my kid could fly it ... but, had no interest (go figure) ..

Someone talked me into buying a cheap one first. I could never fly it either. Worst advice ever.

The DJI ones aren't that much and practically fly themselves.

Just FYI drones are not allowed to be used in National Parks, including Death Valley NP. https://www.nps.gov/deva/learn/management/rules-and-regulati...
