Large Party Restaurant Venue near Rosarito/Gaviotas Area-Suggestions

My fiance and I are thinking of doing a wedding in Northern Baja- have everyone stay in Gaviotas or surrounding area, ceremony on the beach, rent out a restaurant for a celebration and then take our honeymoon south in search of surf.

Anyone have any suggestions for restaurants that we could rent out for an evening? Maybe 50 people at most.

I am sure Ollie's would do it but not sure we want pizza in Baja. ;)

right across the road from gaviotas above the white horse market is Ramiro's restaurant, it would be perfect for a wedding, huge patio area, it's never taken off as a restaurant so i'd think they would be excited to rent it out! go have a look

Las Rocas has weddings all the time.
My nephew got married at the Newport Hotel and it was perfect. They both have wedding planners to help and give discounts on rooms.
Good luck, happy honeymoon!!

Great suggestions!

Ollie's has amazing pizza but unfortunately my lady does not eat pizza and nixed that idea right off the bat. We are not looking at wedding venues with planners b/c of all the unnecessary stuff-in our opinion. We are saving money for a new adventure mobile and traveling. Primarily looking for a great restaurant we can bus the group too and have an amazing dinner with dancing and booze.

I also know that there are some houses that we can rent around and we could probably just get it catered but renting a restaurant seems much more turn key.

Keep up the suggestions please.

Staying at Gaviotas since we are a bunch of surfers and easy access to surf.

Villa del Paraiso

They routinely handle big parties (100-500 guests) every weekend throughout the year.

I know this because they are my neighbor.

Real Del Mar.

Or any number of places in valle de guadalupe.

I don't recommend surfing Rosarito or gaviota. The whole coastline in that area has untreated sewage discharges.

I have never had issues with surfing in that area the limited times I have been in the water up north. I will keep my nose open ;)

If you are still looking, I highly recommend this venue. Excellent wine, outstanding food.

My brother got married at Gaviotas and had the reception right there in the hall. A bit conservative rules but they helped get a taco caterer. Super nice and easy just no crazy parties there.
