Thanks is that a nice swimming beach? I have never been to La Paz

Marla - You don't want to swim in the water along the malecon in La Paz. It is, however, a beautiful area in a city many of us love. Both Balandra and Tecolote beaches are just a car/taxi/bus ride outside of La Paz and are very nice beaches for swimming.

why don't you tell us what you are charging?
Why is there no hint on your website?
Are you asking $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
that you have to hide the price?

Germanicus, The prices are stated on the rental page with pictures of the units.
I'd like to know just where they are located. The Malecon runs a ways.

Answer to your questions

I?m sorry you couldn?t find the price. It is certainly not our intention to hide that and I'll will definitely re-think where we place it on the website. We charge US$450 per week and, US$1150 per month for the two bedroom apartments.

We charge US$400 per week and US$1050 per month for the 1 bedroom house.

If you like to stay longer than 6 weeks, then we are willing to negotiate that price.

As for location, it is between Salvatierra and Victoria two blocks from the Malecon.

Let me know if I can answer any other questions.

If what iv'e heard is correct the Los Arcos cabanas are cheaper and right on the Malecon.checked the Los Arcos $75.00per night The cabinas but the 3rd and 6th night free.
7@75.00 = $525 less $150.00 =$375.00 week so there.

I stayed at this place under the previous owners and property manager in June of 2000 when things were better and prices much lower. It was a good deal then. This last spring we stayed in the front house and were dissapointed by the conditions and were treated very poorly by the property manager. Other people staying there at the same time had problems as well and the manager was very unresponsive. Sorry, but as pointed out by previous posts you can stay somewhere much nicer for far less money in La Paz.

I have a friend who is in need of a 8-10 month rental. Is there noone out there that can share an opinion of this place in question, other than Richard Nauman.

Surely someone else has lived there and has the experience to share.

Help, please

Why would anyone consider those prices for 8-10 Months when there are so many rentals so much cheaper.

I am sure they would like something less expensive, but when they put up a thread asking for some guidelines to rentals in the La Paz area, it didn't generate any bites.

I am just trying to help them in their search.
