Camping spots on the way to cabo?
My Girlfriend, our rabbit, and myself are planning on driving our new 4runner and rooftop tent down to Baja for the next few weeks and are hoping to
get down to cabo. Taking out time and would like to camp on as many beaches as possible. Does anyone have any favorite camping spots where it would be
safe to live out of a roof top tent for a while?

Do you surf, fish, kayak? what interest do you have? You will have to keep a close eye on the rabbit.

There is a fishing book,The Baja Catch, that has many out of the way camping spots described.

Keep in mind, you're coming into the windy season and it can be fierce and cold in January when it blows from the north. However, that said, it can
also be beautiful and calm. Just be prepared for the wind if you're planning on tent camping.

Sounds about right... a couple heading down to baja for the first time in their new 4runner and rooftop tent. Ugh.
In that pre-Google Earth and social media epoch, The Code was adhered to. It was based on a simple verity: if a locale had been transformational for
you, and you had put the hard yards in to get there and to learn it, to know it, why in gods name would you broadcast the news, thus ruining the
future experience not only for yourself, but for future adventurers?

It's all relatively safe. Plenty of beaches. If you pick campgrounds, count on $5-10/nt.

Edit: inside joke for surfers!

Check with US Border agency to see what the requirements are for bringing a bunny across the border into USA. I have a bird and it is pretty
impossible both ways. We have a holland lop, cutest thing ever but have never taken to Baja. Nor the bird, just the dog.
