Hugo Lopez--Tacos La Mision, El Rosario

Is Tacos La Mision still there in El Rosario, and is Hugo Lopez still painting?

Yes... and no... too bad, his art was great stuff!

Here is the thread with all the paintings he did I was able to photo over the years. We have two of his paintings in our home, too.

Cool photos David. I actually own one of the originals--El Molino Viejo. What happened to Hugo?

He seemed to be burned out on doing them... It was his passion in the 2000s, but after 2011 it didn't spark his fire anymore. That was when he said he wasn't painting anymore.

Who knows, maybe again someday?

Actually is the other way around... Hehehehe.

Tacos La Misión is no longer there, for now. Hugo tore down the place a couple of weeks ago and is rebuilding something there.

He is still painting, however at a much slower rate than in the past. He has been working for the last couple of years in building a new home in the lower part of town and since he is personaly doing much of the contruction work he has been quite busy.
