East Cape - Kids just want to have fun
It has been a windy week on the East Cape so I have no report. Like Jeff says, "got nothing for you". Instead I'm posting up a few my favorite images from our 2016 season of kids having fun.

vseaport, we have a pic of my son, who is now in the marines, that we took of him when he was about 10 years old. That is a photo of him catching his first marlin in the Sea of Cortez. A reminder of an event that met so much to him. So will the theme of catch and release that is a great subject to bring up when he shares the shots with whomever. Thanks for sharing.

I caught a sailfish near shore in Manzanillo on the mainland. That was in 1959 when I was almost 12 years old, and it still brings a smile to my face when I see the black and white photo my dad took!

Any bill fish I catch in the future, I hope to be able to release in good shape. Releasing one that is badly stressed or injured is just wasteful! I would go by the captain's advice in that case.

If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!

"Could do better if he tried!" Report card comments from most of my grade school teachers. Sadly, still true!
