Where did you get info that they are closed Xmas week?

I'm struggling to think of another place between Santa Rosalia and Mulege. It's not that the distance between the two is that great, and there are plenty of options in both of those towns.

El Morro on the south end of Sta. Rosalia........ other than that, nothing until Mulege. One other smaller hotel just before El Morro, sorry but forgot the name.

The El Morro would be my choice as it has a restaurant....just north of it a few hundred meters is Las Casitas (I think that's the name but well-signed) on east side of highway...newer than Morro

In Bahia Concepción you may want to check Posada Concepción, about 18mi. south of Mulege:

https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/14168690

We stayed there during Thanksgiving week and really enjoyed our stay, there's a restaurant and a bakery on site. If you decide to go send me a U2U and I'll send you a link that will give you a couple of bucks off and I get a referral fee as well.

Boy, there is a small hotel in San Bruno which is about dead middle of Santa Rosalia to Mulege. It is called Costa Serena and is owned by a friend of mine called Beto Romero. 52-615-112-5429.

Victor, the manager, at Hotelito is getting a chance to spend Christmas with his family at San Ignacio and he is giving the help a week off to spend time with their families.
