Anything wrong with this plan?
Need some major dental work done ( root canals, bridges maybe an implant)
And my plan is to go down to La Paz for at least 10 days and
after reading dentist recommendations I think Eduardo (Lalo?) Talamantes is the best fit for me
Planing on staying La Concha, I know it's a bit out of town but I like the fact that it's on the beach and I can get a bit of surf fishing in and may
also do a a few days inshore fishing with Tailhunters
Like the plan?

I have traveled to La Paz several times for dental 'vacations', and for the amount of work you want done, I would plan on more time, or two trips. If
you need root canals, your dentist will probably want you on antibiotics before he starts working on them.
I had two implants done, and my dentist wanted the jawbone and gums to heal thoroughly before installing the permanent post and crown. I agree with
that approach!
In December, I had two crowns replaced, and one of them was made incorrectly, which was resolved, but added a couple of days.
If you are sure of your dentist, I would try to call ahead and discuss your plan and timing. I use Dra. Patricia Camon Sanchez, and I am pleased
with her work and the results.
If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!

Soulpatch has a good point! If flying to Manzanillo is an option for you, I can recommend a good dentist in a fine little town with a great beach
near there.

I think your timeline is off. My wife had an implant and it stretched to a couple of months for the jaw to heal and bone graft to take
My suggestion is you check out TJ or Ensenada dentists/specialists and talk to them. You will probably need someone else to drive for you after the
major work.

Yes it would! Dr. Eduardo Pimienta Woo. I went to Melaque as part of a celebration of life with an old friend. I was very pleased to find such a
competent, affordable dentist while visiting my favorite section of Mexico!

I understand that I might have to make a second or even a third trip, that's not a problem
Am intrigued by the thought of Manzanillo, looked it up and it looks
great and maybe some good shore fishing
Can anyone give me more dentist recommendations or second Dr Woo?

Well you found a great dentist. He´s been our family dentist for a couple of decades now. He´s also a local crooner in the evenings .

Decided to go with your advice and head to Melaque for dental work with Dr Woo
Found a nice hotel on the beach, Las Arenas, and as a bonus there seems to be really good surfing down there, there's a company called "Reel in one"
that offers surfishing trips run by Jeff Klassen. I think he use to work out of Cabo
If anyone has a better idea on where to stay please let me know, will head down middle of March and give a full report when I return.
