Post Pole Line trek to San Felipe

After visiting with Sergio, and saying our good-byes to the Pole Line Group, Akula and his wife Karen followed Leidys and I to San Felipe for one day. 127 miles south of La Ventana we went!

The La Ventana road from the Arroyo Grande region

Finally on Hwy 5

We had a great dinner at George's at a super affordable price! The next morning, we returned to the Malecon and had another incredible meal at Rice and Beans.

Akula wanted to experience the Baja beach, so to the sand we went!

Karen and Leidys

There were a few boats parked on the sand. We examined them for seaworthiness, but decided they weren't woth much.

La Ventana/ Well Road (Km. 106.5) to San Felipe (Km. 190+) is not 127 miles... but about 51 miles. However, riding in a Jeep, it may have seemed like 127! :light:

Thanks for sharing - love the San Flippy photos.

And that La Ventana road is a fun drive at speed.

A tj on 35's with a 6 banger most definitely makes you earn every mile.
